We have one at the bar I work at. Flies get so bad in the summer cause the back door is 5 feet from the trash cans. I love that thing. It works so well. Youre not smooshing flies in to counters or tables, it can shoot flies off of the hanging lights, and Ive even shot a fly off a regular's shoulder without him feeling it. Its fun, the customers think its hilarious, and it does a better job than fly tape or fly swatters. If your regulars are already coming to a bar with a fly problem, you can probably shoot them in the face with it. I am also a bartender. Have you seen those screen doors that are like curtains with a magnetic strip down the center to keep the curtains closed? They just stick around the doorframe with adhesive and are, like, 30 bucks on Amazon. We got one because our garbage cans are 10 feet from our backdoor and it caused a huge drop in the number of flies that came in. Just in case you want an additional idea for fly control, though a gun sounds more fun. My family has one of these for the back door and it worked well for a bit but after about a year or two the magnets slowly started falling off and sun damage to the screen door has gotten it pretty raggedy. Might have a get a couple if you're making it a long term solution.
