I'm aware that nearly all responsible countries I Am A Voter Tee Shirt , including the US, has progressive taxation. However, the US is one of the only nations I'm aware of which allows for so much of an individual's tax liability to be removed through extraneous means. Frankly, if you know the system - as only the rich in this nation truly do - you can get away with paying far fewer taxes as an effective percentage of your income than someone much poorer than you. America technically has progressive income tax rates too. But in reality, we shift the majority of tax burden away from income tax and give so many bullshit deductions and loopholes so that poor people typically end up paying a higher effective rate than wealthy people. And then we force a ton of stuff to be paid by individuals through private markets, which again means poor people don't have the leverage they would have through united negotiations, so again they bare a disproportionate amount of that burden.

Using their logic, does this mean  Perfect Do Not Revive Shirt  a Muslim or Jewish clerk should have the right to deny a Christian couple a marriage license because the clerk could view a Christian marriage as invalid and against their spiritual beliefs? Or if a Mormon gets a job in a liquor store and refuses to sell anything but mixers. Apparently that behavior should be protected because they’re just exercising their religious freedom? That attitude is in many ways the social norm in some of these suppressive and religious controlled countries. That outrage surfaced over that statement is surprising in itself if you think about it. What’s even more ridiculous is if you think about the statement literally. It’s totally possible to physically penetrate a woman even if her legs would be locked tight together. My guess is those who say things like that either haven’t had sex or stick to the very basics in the bedroom. I'm from Finland.
